the off-brand Twilight guy is my favorite.  His name is Sedward Tullen

Tacoma Glass

I just found these little guys.  I drew them from life at the Tacoma Glass museum a long time ago.

Grad Portfolio

This isn't everything, but it's just a taste.  I know you are all just DYING for one!  Oh yeah, don't look at this if you don't like nudies.  I've drawn some nudies in my time.

That's a part of a three-paneled 5 foot by 7 foot series about a russian fairy tale.  This panel's my fave!

my one and only oil painting.  I just can't take the mess!

I called this one, "Lady Can I Lie in Your Lap?" because I just can't stop being an English major, who do you think I am?

Those two are a series of 26 alphabet drawings centering along various myths and fairy tales.  Did I mention I liked that stuff?

Mural Times!

I got the opportunity to help out some lovely people at Mark Twain Elementary School and help them put a mural together.  I even got to help the kiddos paint it! Some insanely wonderful children gave me some pictures and ideas to work from, and here is my design (with the tagline created by the lovely Brittany Harmon):
It was especially cool when the PTA made t-shirts!  I should take a picture sometime...and put up a picture of the final mural.  It's pretty much this but the colors are completely uniform in their outlines.  And there are more clouds...

And I should mention! If you live in the Federal Way area, you can go see this mural!  It's up in Celebration Park!

Here's what I've been working on for a thousand years

Ok here is AmeriStories stuff.

Oh, what is AmeriStories, you ask?  Well, I served on an AmeriCorps team this past year, and I got the opportunity to interview my teammates and illustrate them as they talked about their time working in schools and what they thought about America and all kinds of stuff. We turned it into a book for the team at the end of the year, and a fledgling website: ameristories.blogspot.com

I ended doing about 20 drawings in all--here is the cover, for starters:

And here are some team pictures:

This is the original drawing, before editing

this is the end paper, one of my favorites

Lovely! And , bonus:  The cover before it got all computered' up!

Some old art

They're pages from a comic I started to make last year about my trip to Europe.  Maybe someday I'll finish it...

Mermaids + smooth tunes

Hello!  I'm finally making a portfolio after trying to avoid learning how to use the internet for many years.  I put up a good fight, but I think now it's time.

So anyway, here's something I whipped up last week-- jazz singing mermaids!
